Inwood, the city of Lake Tahoe, California, is home to the world’s largest performing arts center.
There are more than 4,000 performances annually at the venue, which is the home of the Lake Tahoes Bay Area Ballet, the Tahoe Ballet and the Lake Elsinore Playhouse.
Here’s a look at the world of Inwood performance arts.
Inwood’s music scene is in the middle of a renaissance.
The area has a thriving music scene thanks to the influx of people from outside the city.
Inwood has been hosting shows at The Playhouse since 2000 and in 2014, the Playhouse moved from its current location on the city’s waterfront to the Inwood Theater.
In addition, the Lake Shasta Festival, a monthly arts festival, is staged at Inwood.
There’s a reason why the city has been home to an amazing performing arts community.
