MANHATTAN, N.Y. (AP) A man has been arrested after allegedly stabbing a woman and her 2-year-old child in the arm at a New Orleans show and then fleeing the scene, authorities said Sunday.
The stabbing happened at the Mardi Gras Parade on Saturday night.
The boy was not hurt.
The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s or 30s, 5 feet 10 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing between 180 and 190 pounds.
He has black hair, was wearing a gray T-shirt and shorts, black and brown shoes, a black cap with a black brim, black pants and a white belt with a white buckle.
Anyone with information is asked to call New Orleans police.
