— The U.S. Department of Agriculture has announced the dates for the 2018 Maryhaven Performance Arts Festival.
The festival, which is set to begin Aug. 23-24, will feature live music, food, dance, poetry and crafts.
The 2018 festival will also feature a variety of artists performing at the Maryhaven Art Museum.
The festival is sponsored by the Department of Commerce and will be hosted by the U.N. Headquarters, the United Nations International Museum of African Diasporas and the United States Department of State.
It will also include a parade and parade floats.
The Festival of Mary has been a tradition in the city of Maryhaven since it opened in 1869.
It has attracted more than 1,000 people each year since 1894, with the most recent festival in 2017 drawing more than 4,000.
In 2017, more than 6,000 festival attendees attended the festival.
