JDL performed on Broadway last week, performing a number of new songs, including “The Chating of the Stars” and “The Lying Machine,” and also sharing a stage with local jazz band, The Chasing the Sun.
The show also featured local artist, Michael Williams, who has been a longtime fan of JDL’s work.”JDL is a very important artist in Fresno and across the country.
We are grateful for the opportunity to bring JDL to the stage in Fresno,” JDL guitarist Mike Sibley said.
“JDL has been playing in Fresno for a very long time, and this will be a great chance to connect with audiences and hear the music of our heroes.
The music will be played on a stage that has been used as a rehearsal space, and the band will have a setlist that includes original material.”
The show opened the Fresno Convention Center on April 16.
The concert also included live music from local bands, including Joe Toto and the Muddy Dads, and other local artists.
JDL has performed at the Fresno Theatre, San Francisco’s Civic Center and in other venues across the United States.
In 2017, the band sold out three nights at the Civic Center.
