The NFL has decided to keep an eye on N.F.L. player Brian Robison, who is not eligible to play for the league, and his performance in Sunday’s win over the Miami Dolphins, league spokesman Greg Aiello said.
Robison was a reserve, and the league announced that he was suspended for three games and fined $25,000 for his actions.
The league also announced that it was sending a letter to the New Orleans Saints, who lost to the Houston Texans by a score of 37-17.
The letter said the league was concerned with Robison’s conduct in Sunday night’s loss to the Dolphins.
The N.L.’s second-highest-paid player, Robison will be eligible to return for the team’s Week 16 game against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.
